My Thoughts

This non-oily and non-sticky white liquid hair fragrance has a very nice floral scent.

It can be sprayed on both wet and dry hair.  I prefer to spray it onto my palm and rub it onto my dry hair.  It leaves my hair with a long lasting sweet fragrance.  And it tames and smoothen my frizzy fringe.

This is a great product to bring along to the enclosed restaurants and hawker centres where the food cooking smell really stink my hair.  And with a few sprays, it helps to remove the stinky smell.

I super love the floral fragrance, it smells so nice.

I private message The Closet Lover via facebook on 7 July and got a reply -

Our office is located at 26 Sin Ming Lane, Midview City. Exact unit number will be given once we fixed an appointment with you. We're open weekdays between 12-8PM.

I waited until 31 July and still hear nothing from them, so I wrote to them. This time they said to collect - Before 6PM. Pls let us know the day and time 1-2 days in advance so that we can make the necessary arrangement.

I asked for the unit number and telephone number twice, but they refused to give. Isn't it more convenient that I call them to inform them of when I'm going down to collect it, rather than we email here and there, when they take a really long time to reply.
Since they don't respond fast to emails and facebook messages, they should give me their phone number. But they're so secretive about it.

They kept insisting that I've to pay them $6 for mailing me the prize. Since I don't know what's inside the bag, I don't want to waste the $6.

I wanted to collect it yesterday afternoon. Without their phone number, I can only email them. I waited the whole afternoon, but of no reply.

My brother was free to collect it today morning, but I got a reply saying that they'll only be in after 12pm, so he got to rush there in between his work to collect it.

With their weird attitude, I can't help but feel that there's something fishy about them. This is the first time that I met giveaway organiser's being so secretive about their address and telephone number.

I'm really upset with their ignorant and inconsiderate attitude that caused great inconvenience to us.

But then, I'm still very excited about the L'Oreal products.

We collected these samples at OG People's Park.
We wonder why the Promoter asked us to write our IC numbers on each of our copy of redemption letter, which we've already submitted our particulars through facebook.
My sister collected it after us, and the Promoter asked for her IC number and her address.
We know this elderly Promoter is only acting friendly, and not so willing to give us the samples, like scaring we'll cheat her.
It's not stated in the redemption letter that we must provide our IC numbers and addresses to the Promoter before we can redeem our samples, so why is she demanding for the extras.
Also, for our previous samples redemption from Facebook, none of their Promoters asked for our particulars.  What we did was to exchange the redemption letters for the samples.
This Granny Promoter is really kiasu.

My Thoughts

The orange shower scrub contains lots of exfoliation beads and has a very lovely sweet berry scent.

Before shower, I will squeeze out an appropriate amount onto my palms and add water to dilute it. 

Apply and massage on the desire areas, like arms, tummy, thighs and buttocks for a few seconds and rinse off thoroughly with water.  Then, bathe as usual.

I accidentally touched my face with the scrub.  Oh dear, it caused me rashes, the itchy red blotches of rashes 风膜 appeared all over my face.  After applying the Xepa Hydrocortisone Cream, day and night for a week, the rashes finally subsided.  Then my face became really dry with the itchy hard flaky skin all around my eyes, nose and cheeks area.  With continuous application of the Xepa Hydrocortisone Cream for another two weeks, my skin went back to normal.

Celebrity’s Choice InchLoss Body Cream



My Thoughts

This thick white body cream has the same lovely sweet berry scent like the scrub. 

Every night, I'll apply it onto my arms, tummy, buttocks and legs.  After a few circular rubs, it's easily absorbed into the skin, leaving it with a slight sticky feeling.

I'm allergic to this body cream.  Every time when I apply it, even a little bit of it will make my skin burning hot with itchy and painful red patches. 

One time, I applied it on my tummy and went jogging.  Oh dear, when I sweat, my tummy was even more itchy than ever and the itchiness was unbearable.

After bath, it is best to apply the facial skin care products first, before apply this body cream.  After applying this cream, don't ever touch the parts where I applied it.  Somehow the cream will go to my hands and when I touch my face, it makes my face really painful with the real hot burning sensation. 

One time, after touching my leg, the part where I applied this cream, I touched my eyes.  It hurted my eyes so badly that tears started flowing out and I couldn't open my eyes.  Even water couldn't rescue my painful eyes.  There's another time, I touched my face and it gave it a long lasting really really painful burning hot sensation.

After using the scrub and cream for weeks, I don't see any signs of my body being slimmer or firmer.

This is not a miracle cream.  With continuous use for a long period of time, it will probably help to slim a little.  However, I need to watch my diet.  Don't expect to get a flat tummy and slender figure when I love fried foods and dislike exercising.

Vardi and Migdal - Body Soap Sample

We each got a free body soap sample from Vardi n Migdal in JCube.

This brown soap reminds me of agar-agar.

 I really love its strong perfume fragrance.

When I rub it on my palms, this hard soap easily lathers to bubbles with water.
But when I use it on my body, I can only feel a smooth layer.  There are no bubbles at all.
After bath, my skin feels soft and smooth on the surface.
And it leaves a very nice long lasting fragrance on my body.
But it's not moisturizing enough for my super dry skin.

The black dots on my palm aren't dirt, they came from the soap.
  

Rider Slippers

My hubby bought this pair of Rider Slippers R2 URB AD 10736 at an offer price of $23.  Its usual price is $32.90.

I'm a huge fan of Rider slippers.  I find that their slippers are really comfortable and durable, except that they are expensive.



Dinner at Capricciosa Pasta and Pizza Restaurant Italiano

We ordered the Capricciosa Pizza and Seafood Spaghetti.

Capricciosa Pizza
Beef bacon, beef pepperoni, mushrooms and bell peppers.





Seafood Spaghetti
Mussels, calamari and tuna in tomato sauce.





Hubby loves the lamp shades.



The crews provided us with real friendly services.



The bill is $34.55 and after deducting a $5 voucher, we paid $29.55

Since our order added up to more than $30, it would be nice if they allow us to use both the vouchers by spitting into 2 bills.  $5 discount is stingy. 

Hubby said their food is nicer than Pastamania, and more expensive than the others.
For me, I still prefer Kentucky Fried Chicken and Pizza Hut.  Especially on Wednesdays when they offer, buy 6 and get 4 drumlets free at $6.50.  Yummy, I really love the sweet and spicy drumlets, so every Wednesday is drumlets day.

I won a Capricciosa Pasta and Pizza Restaurant Italiano $10 dining voucher from JCube Facebook - "Share & Unlock" (4th June - 8th June 2012).

It's nice that the vouchers have no expiry dates.





This is a disappointing voucher where I can only use one per visit. They should have given me a $10 voucher, instead of 2 $5 vouchers.

I find that most restaurants give vouchers only to make us go and dine at their restaurants. Their vouchers can be used only on regular price items.
Their current promotion of 1 for 1 spaghetti is even a better deal.

I'm left with one more $5 voucher and I'm unsure when or will I use it.

As I'm unable to collect it at their office during working hours, so I requested to collect it from their customer service counter on the weekend and they agreed.

They are so nice, I really appreciate it.

But then, I'm really upset with their poor Customer Service.
For only a $10 voucher, they checked, double checked, triple checked and check and check as if I'm a cheater or swindler. I'm really offended.
I've already gave them a print out of the redemption letter and my IC, yet they are so kiasu and kiasi about giving me the vouchers. They made me waited for 30 minutes.
Unlike the professional customer services at the other shopping malls, these two ladies didn't tell me to wait and no words of apologises. They kept quiet the whole time.
This is the very first time that I with met such unprofessional staffs.
I'm really disappointed with Jcube and I won't be going there anymore. It's a nice structure building, but the shops are not to my liking.
In fact, I prefer to shop at IMM Shopping Mall where I can find my favorite shops like Giant, Daiso, Best and A-Mei Cafe. And they offer free parking for the 1st 3 hours.
