Julie's Wheat Crackers

Julie’s Wheat Crackers is my hubby’s favorite snack.   He usually eats it with coffee for breakfast.   And at any time when he is hungry.

I do not like it.   It is not sweet, wheat taste and very dry.   I will only eat it when I am extremely hungry and find nothing else in the house to eat.   And it must be with Praise Margarine spread on it.

Each packet contains 10 small packets in a plastic holder.   My usual purchase is always 10 small packets inside.

But, on my purchase on 27 February 2011 at Giant IMM, when I came home to open it, I am upset to see that it contains only 9 packets.   It is missing 1 packet.

When I wrote a feedback to Li An Foodstruff and Giant via internet, I received no response.

It is obvious that they have very poor customer service and are dishonest with their products.  They made me feel they are very unsincere to their customers.

I really hate to be cheated by the unsincere and dishonest people .  I have not purchased Julie's brand ever since.  My family and friends are not supporting this brand anymore. 

Instead of ignoring my email, they could have apologized.  At the very least, they should show some sincerity to their loyal customer.  We have been supporting this brand ever since it launched several years ago and this is what we get in return.  What a disappointment.

In case anyone buys Julie’s Wheat Crackers, be sure to check its content.  Can faintly see through the plastic wrapper, look out for the Wheat word on the inside small packets to count.  

Or use both hands to press on the top longer sides side of the plastic wrapper to ensure there is no gap in between the holder and the biscuits inside.  The plastic holder must be fully occupied with its content of 10 small packets.

My Experience

I saw this pad at Daiso sometime ago, and hesitated if I should buy it. The display states this is Japan’s no. 1 product. Finally, I bought it. It comes in blue, pink and white colour.

I do not really know how to use it so I use it my way. As usual, I rub on my cleansing cream all over face, eyes and neck, and use it to scrub all over, then rinse off. Next I apply my foaming cleanser, also to my face, eyes and neck, and use this to scrub all over. Scrub for a while – circular motions, in strokes, up and down, then rinse off. After, I see my face very bright, smooth and clean. 

This silicon brush feels like soft rubber or jelly. It is very soft, does not hurt my face when I scrub. 

But it is rather uncomfortable and difficult to grip this soft brush with two fingers through the small hole. When my hand is soapy, it is slippery to hold on to it, it slips off my fingers. I prefer to hold it this way -

Dr Wu Intensive Hydrating Serum With Hyaluronic Acid

My Experience

This transparent serum works fine on my pimple prone skin. Not oily, sticky and greasy.

2 pumps are enough for my face, eyes and neck. After a few rubs and pats, it absorbs fast into my skin almost like I have applied nothing. My face feels moisturized.

After using a bottle, the lines on my eyes are not reduced. Blemishes still the same. Lumps on my cheeks not reduced. Pimples are popping out every now and then. My skin tone is still the same. My skin is exactly the same as before I started using this serum.

As for firmness, a little on my cheeks. Not the lifted kind.

Other than my face being hydrated, I see no other improvement on my skin. It does not moisturise my dry eye area.

Guess this is a good serum for those to maintain their good skin.
  

Beautiful Silver Tabby Cat

 

 

 

The beautiful blue-eyed skinny tabby cat has a friendly and good nature.  It lives under the block of an unfriendly estate, where the cats there are often captured to kill. There are huge sign boards on the wall saying "No Feeding Of Cats".  I think the residents there are evil for having the same mind as Nxxi. You either kill them or let them die of starvation.

I hope the people there can be kind to animals.

My Experience

This white cream has a weird smell like kerosene or some kind of petroleum, very unpleasant to my nose.

I apply it to my hands, feet and nails every night before bed time.  Squeeze out cream onto palm.  Spread evenly onto hands and feet.  Rub and massage till it is fully absorbed.  I always take extra care to massage the cream into my fingers, toes, nails and dry cuticles.

It absorbs fast into my skin without the oily and sticky feeling.  My hands and feet feel smooth and moisturised.  My dry palms soon became soft and smooth. 

This cream only temporary relieves my dry hands.  It does not make my very dry wrinkled hands to become smooth and hydrated.

After using 4 tubes, other than my palms, my hands are still very dry with peeling cuticles.

My Experience

The light golden brown lotion is creamy and thick with a very sweet strong smell of cocoa butter. 

I apply this at night, from my shoulders to ankles except my back that I cannot reach.  After a few rubs, it absorbs into my skin with no oily, but sticky feeling.  My skin is smooth and moisturized. 

The sweet smell and stickiness will last till my next bath. 

When I apply it under the Singapore’s hot sun, clothes will stick to my skin and sweat along with lotion drips down my skin.         

Since this is a very sticky cream, I apply it at night only.  At times when the weather is hot, I will stick to my bed sheet.    

Besides my skin is moisturized, it has no effect on my dark spots and uneven skin tone. 

After using 3 bottles, I stopped.  I am scared of the uncomfortable long lasting sticky feeling and sweet smell.  Sometimes, I smell so sweet that am even worry that ants will crawl onto me. 

My hubby dislikes the strong sweet smell and stickiness.  Every time I apply this lotion, he will keep a distance away from me.  He even scares me, saying he sees ants crawling on my arms and bees will come flying to me.

My Experience

In my view, these two bottles of lotion are the same.  It is the design has changed and the price has increased (more costly now).  The smell and texture is exactly the same.  The new packaging is prettier and with the straight top, there is no wastage. 

When finishing, just leave the bottle upside down, the remaining lotion from the bottom which cannot be pumped up will flow to the cap that I can easily dig it out with my finger. 

As for the old packaging, when I leave the bottle upside down, the remaining lotion will get struck onto the square corners of the bottle.  It hurts my finger when I bend it into the corners to dig it out. 

I often put water into the bottle to dilute the remaining lotion to a basin of warm water to soak my feet.  Or dilute it to pour all over my body and rub together with the bath foam during shower. 

This is my number 10 bottle or more.  I apply this lotion every night, from shoulders to ankles, except my back that I cannot reach. 

After a few rubs, it absorbs fast into my skin without the oily and sticky feeling.  My skin feels smooth and moisturized. 

After months of applying, the dark spots on my legs are lightened and many have disappeared.  The dark, dry and flaky skin on my underarms has become moisturised and fair. 

But, it does not moisturise the drier skin on my legs and arms.  My skin tone is not even and not fairer. 

Since it is not oily and sticky, I feel comfortable applying it under the Singapore’s hot sun as my clothes will not be sticking to the cream on my body.  And I do not feel my skin coated in a layer of oil or lubricant.  Even when I sweat, there is no oily lotion dripping down my skin. 

This lotion is not suitable for dry cold weather countries.  I brought this along when I went on an overseas vacation.  Despite that I applied it thickly to all over my body day and night, it did not moisturise my skin.  My skin became very dry that it wrinkled up.  Painful bloody cracks on my legs and hands.  Itchy red dots all over my legs.

My number 1 choice is Nivea Body Smooth Sensation Lotion.  This white lotion has a very nice feminine perfume scent.  Smells so good and works great on my super dry skin. 

After many rubs, it absorbs into my skin leaving it very oily.  It is too oily for me in the hot Singapore weather.  I hate the uncomfortable feeling of being wrapped in a layer of oil when I go on outings and when I sleep. 

After applying, everything I touch becomes oily with my hand prints.  When I apply it to my feet, the floor will have my oily foot prints. 

This lotion works great in dry cold weather countries.  Whenever I am on an overseas vacation, I will definitely buy a bottle to fly along with me.  It thoroughly moisturised my dry skin, preventing it from cracking and the itchy red dots to appear all over my legs.

As for Nivea Body Intensive Milk, it works fine for the first 2 bottles.  After a few rubs, it absorbs fast into my skin, leaving it smooth and moisturised. 

But from the third bottle onwards, I see no effect on my dry skin.  My skin is still so dry even after I applied, as if I have not applied any lotion to it at all. 

However, it works well on my sister’s skin.  At times when her fair skin gets dry and flaky, after a few applications, her skin becomes soft and smooth again.  This milk is too mild for my drier skin. 

I hope Nivea lotions come in transparent bottles, so I can see how much lotion is left and buy a new bottle to standby.  It is so bothersome that I have to open the cap every now and then to look into the small hole to check.
