My advice is that if companies cannot afford delivery, than its best not to organize any giveaways. Do not treat people like some kind of stupid idiot or beggar to travel so far to an inconvenient location to collect cheap weighty items. Frankly speaking these items cannot even cover the taking leave from work, transport fee, time to travel to and fro. Unless for people who stay or work nearby them than its worth to collect.
When posting giveaways is best that companies must state that exact collection location, days and time, so people can decide if its worth to enter them. Please show sincere and respect.
Or if could be the staff purposely doing this, hoping that winners will not collect so they can sell or bring home for their own use.
